    Report

    2010 - 02.20

I’ve started working on my report for my Project. Current word count is 2345 out of 7000. I’m doing well with it when I can concentrate on it for more than two seconds. I can tell now though that there it’s going to need some padding out to get myself up to the word count.

Life is going on as always. Me and Grace went to Craigs for the evening a few days back. There was food, there was games and there was an episode of the Simpsons as we ate. I miss the older more story driven episodes of that show.

I’ve been thinking alot lately of stuff I’m going to draw once I get my graphics tablet. I’m quite keen on getting a hold of it soon and having some fun with it. Of course, there will be some fan art being made and some own pieces for uni work and for my portfolio.

Has anyone else got a song stuck in their heads at the moment? I have Starry Eyed by Ellie Goulding stuck in mine. I heard it a few times on the radio and it’s lodged itself in there. I’m trying to do the ‘listen to it enough times that you don’t want to hear it again’ thing but it’s not working.

    I Has A Suit

    2010 - 02.11

It’s got a waistcoat and everything. It’s black with purple lining. It’s nice.

Me and my parents went to Dalten Park to buy one yesterday. It was a nice day out with them. My dad walked into a lamppost, twas funny.

I think I’ve picked out which graphics tablet I want to get, an Aiptek Media Tablet 14000U. I also mentioned wanting a pocket watch when we passed a jewellery shop, I think my mam is thinking of getting me one with the difference in money between the tablet and however much they spent on Simon for his 21st. Wooo.

Other than shopping I’ve not been up to much. Uni work as always. I talked to Shaun the guy I was going to do the company with. He’s heading off to Doncaster to live rent free with an old friend. I kinda figured the company wouldn’t happen when we got distracted from finding programmers by uni work. Ah well, I can still make my own stuff. Time to start looking for jobs.

I’ve also gotten caught up on Glee since Ruth suggested I watch it. It’s actually quite good. It’s funny and the songs are well chosen and performed. It also had Jayma Mays in it. Yay!

    Pffffff

    2010 - 02.05

Hey ho. I figured I’d better do an update even though nothing much has happened. I’ve been getting on with uni as always, everything is just plodding along. Craig said he’d be my voice actor for my animation and project work. I’ll need to get that recorded soon. It’s also my reading week next week. Yay I guess.

Games wise I’ve finished the last two of the five games I got last month. Go me. I’ve ordered Muramasa for the wii which should arrive tomorrow which is good because I really really want to play something new, even though I’ve polished of six games and 5 expansion packs since christmas :/ There’s nothing new out that interests me (except Mass Effect 2 but I’m going to wait until the price drops). I know there’s some definite buys coming out this year but there’s just none out right now. Grrr.

Me and my mam discussed what to do for my birthday and what i want present wise. My mam didn’t want me to feel like they’d forgotten me with all the wedding planning going on. To be honest I’m not too fussed over it being my 21st. We’re going to have a small family meal and I’m going to do something separate with friends. She also said I could have a graphics tablet for my birthday so I need to look into which one to get. Something wide and it needs to work with windows, as far as I know Wacom ones (the best make of tablets…I think) can be a bit fussy with windows (I think).

I also stumbled across something great on youtube. People have been mixing rappers songs with the Thomas the Tank Engine theme music. Seriously, look them up, they’re awesome.
