Well, Simon and Jan got married one week ago today. It was a fun day and I thank Ruth very much for accompanying me. Some of the photos of the wedding have surfaced on Jans facebook profile. I think we’re still waiting for quite a few of them, the official photographers ones included. They’d placed a number of disposable cameras on the tables at the reception for people to use with a little note asking people to take candid photos. Me and Ruth ended up taking photos of everything but the people there. They asked for candid and we gave them candid.
I got to see alot of my family members from my mams side of the family who I’ve not seen in ages. All of them asked the same questions “So what are you doing these days? You’re at uni aren’t you?” I got sick of giving the same answers over and over but it was good too see what my cousins are doing these days as well.
There was a bit of a weird moment in the church when the priests speech started with him talking about his favourite tv show, Wedding Disasters from Hell. He somehow managed to end up talking about a miracle Jesus performed. Funny guy the priest.
There was a bunch of other stuff that happened throughout the day but I’m too lazy to type it all out. The one other thing I will mention about the wedding is that there was this one guy who kept dancing every couple of minutes. Me and Ruth called him the One Man Party. A few days after the wedding I was eating breakfast and noticed my mams camera on the table. I took a look to see what she’d taken after we’d left and there’s two videos on there of the One Man Party dancing away drunk with his ‘life partner’. I’ll show it to you guys when I can.
Other than the wedding I’ve not been doing much. Relaxing in my free time and playing games. I’ve gone gold membership on xbl for the year so I can play online, woop. I’ve also tried to fix a footer problem on my website using a fix Craig sent me a link to. The fix works…….if you look at the website on Internet Explorer, on Firefox it’s still bust (the banners also work using IE but those hyperlink boxes are back). Sometimes technology can be a complete pain in the ass.
